As I look back on the past 8 months of my volunteering journey, I find myself reminiscing about the diverse experiences and valuable lessons that have shaped my perspective. The opportunity to be part of this project has been nothing short of transformative, guiding me through a multitude of challenges and rewarding moments.

From the outset, my engagement in this endeavor was driven by a deep-seated passion for environmental causes and a fervent desire to make a meaningful difference in my community. The chance to contribute to initiatives related to the EU Green Objectives and UN SDGs felt like a calling—a chance to be part of something bigger, something that could truly impact lives.

Throughout this journey, the competences I’ve honed have become integral parts of my personal growth. Interpersonal Communication wasn’t just about talking; it was about listening, understanding diverse perspectives, and collaborating effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds. Problem Solving became a constant companion, guiding me through the maze of challenges we encountered, nudging me to seek innovative solutions and learn from every hurdle.

Leadership wasn’t just about taking charge; it was about empowering others, especially the youth, to step up and drive change. Time Management became the compass, allowing me to juggle numerous responsibilities, plan events, and meet deadlines without compromising on quality.

But it wasn’t only about the competences. It was about the profound impact—educating students about climate change and health, witnessing their eyes light up with understanding, and organizing digital literacy campaigns that equipped people with essential skills in this technology-driven era.
